Cancellations
Please note, a minimum of 96 hours notice is required for online appointment cancellations. If you wish to cancel within this timeframe, kindly leave a voicemail or text my studio at (778) 426-4432 at your earliest convenience. Cancellations may result in a partial or full forfeiture of your deposit or a charge up to the full appointment fee, based on my schedule and the ability to fill the vacated slot.
To eliminate any confusion, here’s a clear summary regarding my Cancellation Policy:
🗓 Notice Required: A minimum of 96 hours (4 days) is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty.
The following policy prioritizes fairness, with deposit adjustments determined entirely by the ability to fill the vacated appointment.
🔁 Transferable Deposits: If less than 96 hours is provided but the vacated slot can be filled, your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment date.
🚫 Non-Transferable Deposits: If less than 96 hours is provided — and the time cannot be filled — your deposit may be partially or fully forfeited. This is solely up to my discretion.
Deposits
Tattoo and Nanoblading deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, valued at approximately 50% of the estimated final cost. All payments are subject to applicable sales tax, including deposits. Sales Tax on deposits do not go towards the cost of your appointment. Deposits paid at the time of booking, secure your appointment, and are deducted from the final cost.
Navigating Unforeseen Emergencies:
Your appointments and well-being are very important to me. I understand that unexpected events may require more flexibility. In the event of a scenario as such, all or part of your deposit may be applied to future services. This is solely up to my discretion.
Flexibility for Unforeseen Personal Engagements:
Life is full of unexpected joys and opportunities, including special events like vacations or birthday celebrations! Should you find yourself with a conflicting personal engagement after securing your appointment, rest assured that I'm here to help accommodate you within my capabilities.
Colds
If you have cold-like symptoms, I ask that you wear a mask during the duration of your appointment or reschedule. If you wish to reschedule, please provide me with as much notice as possible to reschedule without penalty. This is based on the on the honour system so please be accountable. Thank you!
Please call to cancel your Nanoblading or Tattoo Appointment if you become pregnant, begin taking antibiotics or if you're experiencing acne/eczema, dermatitis, or a sunburn in or around the area that will be treated. Your deposit will not be forfeited under these conditions when provided with a doctor’s note or photo evidence.
Punctuality
At Lovely Canvas, I prioritize creating a serene environment for every experience. To maintain this ambiance, the studio door is kept locked during treatments. If you arrive 10 minutes or more before your appointment, I kindly ask you to avoid attempting to open the door to prevent any disruption to ongoing sessions. You're welcome to relax in your car or take a seat on the bench conveniently located outside the studio. To facilitate a smooth transition between clients, I advise against arriving more than 5 minutes early, as the door will be locked while I sanitize the treatment area. This allows me to welcome you into a beautiful, clean space for your session.
If you are going to be more than 5 minutes late due to unforeseen circumstances, please try to call the studio as soon as possible. I can usually accommodate appointments if you are running behind, and I would always rather you arrive safely. While I'm committed to accommodating late arrivals to ensure your safety; please note that services unable to be carried out within the remaining time, may result in the forfeiture of your deposit and appointment.
No Shows
Clients who fail to attend their appointments without prior notice, will be charged the full payment for the missed service. To reschedule the service, full payment will be required in advance. However, failure to communicate a reason for the no-show may result in the inability to book future appointments.
