You know the old saying, “Distance makes the heart grow fonder?” I have out-of-town guests from across BC and the nation who understand getting their dream tattoo and Nanoblading shouldn’t be limited by where they live.

Located in beautiful Sidney near Victoria B.C, Lovely Canvas is surrounded by welcoming accommodations,  restaurants, and breathtaking natural landscapes. I know that traveling can be a hassle. If you’re thinking of visiting Lovely Canvas from out of town, I’ve compiled a list of resources to help you make the most out of your visit

How to get here!

By Plane

Lovely Canvas is conveniently located ten minutes from Victoria International Airport. Both Air Canada and WestJet serve Victoria Airport.

By Ferry

Lovely Canvas is also conveniently located less than ten minutes from Swartz Bay Ferry  Terminal with a connection from Tsawwasen Ferry Terminal for our guests from Vancouver. For our guests from Seattle, the studio is approximately thirty-five minutes from the Clipper Ferry Terminal

Where to Stay

Within a five-minute walk is the luxurious  Sidney Pier Hotel and Spa.  Another option within two minutes of the studio is Sidney Waterfront Inn. Both hotels are on the waterfront with wonderful views of Mount Baker and easy access to the beautiful town of Sidney.

​There are additional lodging options available, including Airbnb, VRBO, and other hotels in Victoria.

Where to Eat

There are also many fine eateries near Lovely Canvas.  A few suggestions of popular restaurants nearby include:

Before or after receiving your tattoo or nanoblading service at Lovely Canvas add to your trip exploring the local area In Sidney and Victoria BC. There are many wonderful world attractions to explore including:

  • Fairmont Empress Hotel

  • Scenic Inner Harbour

  • Canada's oldest China Town

Vancouver Island 

If your time permits Vancouver Island has some amazing locations to fill your time with adventure, relaxation, and new experiences. Enjoy alpine climbing in the Comox Valley, backcountry hiking to the lighthouse of Cape Scott, seaside camping in the Gulf Islands, caving at Horne Lake, and storm watching and surfing in Tofino. Take Brewery Tours and Indigenous tours of culture and cuisine as well as cycling, jogging, or simply exploring the region’s roads on two wheels or four.
